ABOUT MiND-AID

PLEASE NOTE: MiND-AID is not an emergency crisis intervention service.

If immediate support is needed,  please call one of

Muskoka's Mental Health Crisis Lines (click here for contact info), or call 911.

WHAT IS MiND-AID?

MiND-AID is a needs-based, client-centered, cost-free local service, providing navigation assistance and support to young persons, who are looking for help on their journey to mental wellness. MiND-AID is brought to you by Muskoka Victim Services and is funded in part by the Government of Canada's Emergency Community Support Fund, through the Muskoka Community Foundation and the United Way Simcoe Muskoka.

WHY IS MiND-AID NEEDED?

Young people face several barriers when trying to access the help they need. Many only get care through a hospital E.R. once they reach a crisis point. Tragically, some young people never access the supports they require.
